How deep is your mother’s love to you?
She is a mother with her 3 children in the house. Her husband works in Jakarta and Linda, (friends and family called her) has to take care all of her children by herself. In a small house in the suburb of Yogyakarta, she takes care of everything with only one eye which is active. Her husband job require him to move all around Indonesia every several years, depends on his boss told him when and where to move out. Linda never complained with her husband job, “I will always support him whenever and wherever he asked to move out to other city, I’ll accompany him” Linda said. But Linda is now live in Yogyakarta with her children. She thought that this is the best for her children to study in Yogyakarta than in Jakarta, and she decided to live in Yogyakarta without her husband with her. “My husband came to Yogyakarta every weekend, and we always contact each other by telephone every day”.
She had a problem with her eyes when she was a young girl. She had an accident when she ride a motorcycle. A car crashed her from the back side, she fell off, and this accident impacted her eyes when she grew older. Linda had a surgery when she was 45, but it doesn’t make her eye getting better, but her right eye became blind. She is now relying on her left eye to do everything. “I don’t want to give up. The best doctor in the world is God, I believe He will protect and give all the best for me.”
“She is never complained about her condition. I love her so much and I really want her eyes back to normal” said Uli, Linda’s daughter. “She is the best mother in the world. With only one eye, she is surviving. She always smile in her sadness”
